Let's Talk: Perimenopause & Menopause Support
Movement, Real Talk, and the Women Who Get It
A monthly workshop for women in perimenopause and menopause — where we move our bodies, learn from a different expert each month, and have an honest conversation about what's actually going on during this phase of life.
Our next class is on Thursday, June 25th at 7:00pm EST.
What's Included
Here's How We Spend Our Time Together
We start on the mat with a feel-good Pilates class, then settle in with a guest practitioner who sees women like us every day. No pressure, no perfection, no need to already have it figured out. Just show up as you are.

A Pilates Class to Open
We start by moving. A safe, effective Pilates class designed for your body and where it's at right now. You'll warm up, get stronger, and shake off the day. (Beginners, this is genuinely for you. I promise.)

A Guest Expert + Real Discussion
Then we slow down and learn. Each month I bring in a different practitioner — from traditional Chinese medicine to nutrition to pelvic health and beyond — to share what they're actually seeing in their practice and how it relates to perimenopause and menopause. It's part teaching, part honest conversation.

Time to Ask, Share, and Connect
This isn't a lecture you sit through quietly. Bring your questions. Bring your "is this normal?!" moments. This is a room full of women in the same season of life, and there's something really good that happens when we stop figuring it out alone.

Nêve Bessette
R.TCMP, R.AC + Wellness Catalyst
My name is Nêve Bessette, a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist, graduate of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner program at Humber Polytechnic.
Through my clinical experience in community clinics, wellness centres and support programs. I supported individuals navigating various illnesses, health struggles, and complex life circumstances.
I believe health is influenced not only by what’s happening in the body, but also by our environment, stress levels, elationships, and lived experiences. I approach every patient with curiosity, compassion, and a desire to help.
I’ve always been fascinated by the human body and its incredible ability to heal when given the right support.

Let's Talk: Perimenopause & Menopause Support with Beth Hawkins
This event is open to both Beth Hawkins Pilates members and non-members, and is designed to support women through the changes and challenges that can come with perimenopause and menopause. Each month we'll be joined by different health practitioners to give us their valuable insights on how this stage of life is viewed through the lens of their modality. The class is included as part of the Beth Hawkins Pilates Membership, and only $10 for non-members.
Thank you

Your Host + Pilates Instructor
Beth Hawkins
I began teaching fitness in 1996, long before boutique studios and online memberships were part of the landscape. In those early years, I taught aerobics and step classes and was the first in my city to offer Tae Bo — that still makes me smile. Even then, what mattered most to me wasn’t trends or performance, but helping people feel better in their bodies.
In 2001, I discovered Pilates at a time when almost no one locally knew what it was — I didn’t even know how to pronounce it at first! That discovery changed the direction of my life and career. I received my training through Stott Pilates (Merrithew), completed my Injuries and Special Populations training in 2002 and my Full Advanced Repertoire in 2003, and went on to open the first fully equipped Pilates studio in Essex County.
Over the years, alongside raising my children and building a parallel career as a firefighter (I achieved the rank of Captain!), Pilates remained a constant thread — the work I always came back to.
Good Questions
(You're Not the Only One Wondering)
Yes. Whether you're noticing the first little changes, deep in the thick of it, or fully on the other side — you belong here. We cover a wide range, and honestly, hearing what's ahead (or what others are going through) is half the value.
A real Pilates workout, practical insight from an expert who works with women like you, and answers to questions you maybe haven't felt comfortable asking anywhere else. You'll leave moving a little better and understanding your body a little more — plus the relief of knowing you're not alone in this.
Nope and nope. The class is mat-based and adaptable to your body and abilities — that's the whole point of Pilates done properly. If you can find a bit of floor space, you're set.
Absolutely not. Camera on, camera off — completely your choice, every single time. Show up however you're comfortable.
Register anyway and I'll send you the replay!
The last Thursday of every month, with a new guest expert each time. Come to one, come to all — there's no commitment to keep showing up.
